1 monte fenera an the Nature park<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The mountain, located in the Nature Park<\/a><\/mark><\/strong> by the same name, has an unmistakable rounded shape with white walls and karst caves that boast spectacular formations of stalagmites and stalactites.<\/strong> Many of these caves safeguarded and hid for a long time some very precious prehistoric finds such as the remains of the Neanderthals and the Merk rhinoceros.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The small town of Serravalle Sesia <\/a><\/strong>offers some interesting sites: the Parish Church of Santa Maria di Naula<\/strong>, the impressive Sant’Euseo Sanctuary<\/strong> and the fascinating ruins of the Vintebbio Castle<\/a>.<\/strong> We recommend you to reach the ruins of the Castle to enjoy an amazing view of the surrounding villages, the Sesia River and Monte Fenera.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Lying on the green hills between Valsessera and Valsesia, in Guardabosone<\/a><\/strong> you can still breathe an ancient medieval atmosphere <\/strong>thanks to the skillful renovation works of its medieval walls, inner courtyards, and winding streets. Pietro and Paolo<\/strong> and the Sanctuary of Sant’Anna di Montrigone<\/a><\/strong>. The Carlo Conti Museum of Archeology and Paleontology<\/a><\/strong> displays some of the most interesting prehistoric finds discovered in the caves of Monte Fenera and it\u2019s certainly worth a visit.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Valduggia<\/a><\/strong>, a charming town, known as the birthplace of Gaudenzio Ferrari<\/strong>, is located close to the Nature Park of Monte Fenera and is surrounded by beautiful woods of beech and chestnut trees. Along secondary roads and trails you can admire some of the last examples of taragn<\/strong>, ancient farmhouses, typical in Bassa Valsesia until the last century.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

From Gattinara:<\/strong> take SP 70 towards Serravalle Sesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Milano and Torino: <\/strong>rom the A4 take the A26 junction at Biandrate, direction Gravellona Toce, and exit at Romagnano S.- Ghemme. From the motorway exit, take the SP299 \u201cStrada della Valsesia\u201d in the direction of Varallo-Alagna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
