BY HIGHWAY
From Milan: A4 Milan-Turin, A26 junction at Biandrate, direction Alessandria, exit Vercelli Est, then follow regional road 143.
From Turin: A4 Turin-Milan, A26 junction at Santhià, direction Alessandria, exit Vercelli Ovest, then follow regional road 435.
BY TRAIN
Vercelli is located on the Milan-Turin railway line. The travel time to Turin is 45’ and to Milan is 55′, while Novara is only 15′ away by train.
BY BUS
Daily bus service connects Vercelli to Biella (ATAP Line 55), cto Gattinara, Varallo and Alagna (ATAP Line 50), to Novara and Malpensa airport (STN – Servizio Trasporti Novaresi) and to Casale Monferrato (STAT Group). Several ATAP lines connect Vercelli to the Terre del Riso towns.
BY AIR
The nearest airport to Vercelli is Milan Malpensa (MXP) about 40 km away. Other nearby airports are Turin Caselle (TRN) about 60 km away, Milan Linate about 70 km away, and Bergamo Orio al Serio (BGY) about 105 km away. There is a shuttle bus service connecting the airports and the railway stations of Milan and Turin, from where you can easily reach Vercelli by train.

BY HIGHWAY
From Milan: A4 Milan-Turin, exit Agognate or A26 junction at Biandrate, direction Gravellona Toce to Romagnano-Ghemme.
From Turin: Greggio exit or A26 junction at Biandrate, direction Gravellona Toce to Romagnano-Ghemme.
From Vercelli: A26 Genoa-Gravellona Toce, exit Romagnano-Ghemme. From Romagnano Sesia follow SP 299 to Varallo-Alagna Valsesia.
BY BUS
Daily bus service connects Varallo to Milan and Novara (Baranzelli Line), to Turin (GTT Line 201), to Alagna and Vercelli (ATAP Line 50).

BY HIGHWAY
From Milan: A4 Milan-Turin, exit Agognate or A26 junction at Biandrate, direction Gravellona Toce to Romagnano-Ghemme.
From Turin: Greggio exit or A26 junction at Biandrate, direction Gravellona Toce to Romagnano-Ghemme.

BY TRAIN/ BY BUS
The ATAP 50 line connects Alagna to Vercelli with daily service from Monday to Saturday. In Vercelli there are frequent connections with trains to Novara, Milan, Turin, Pavia, Casale Monferrato.
The Baranzelli Lines connect Alagna to Milan and Novara with daily service.
SHUTTLE SERVICE in Valsesia
There is a ‘FLEXIBUS’ shuttle service available in the Valsesia area that connects the city of Varallo to various towns in Val Mastallone and Val Sermenza: Balmuccia, Rossa, Boccioleto, Rimasco, Rima San Giuseppe, Carcoforo, Cravagliana, Fobello, Cervatto, and Rimella. The service is by reservation only and varies depending on the time of year (summer and winter schedules apply).
During the summer season, the municipality of Alagna offers some extra transportation services for tourists and hikers:
- The Valle Vogna Shuttle in Riva Valdobbia connects the hamlets of Ca di Janzo and Sant’Antonio, the starting point for some wonderful hikes in Val Vogna.
- The Acqua Bianca Shuttle, departing from the car park in Wold, goes to the Acqua Bianca waterfalls, the starting point for various hiking trails, including the trail to the Alta Valsesia Nature Park and the Rifugio Pastore.
During the winter season, the municipality of Alagna Valsesia, in partnership with Monterosa 2000 S.p.A. and local operators, organises a ski-bus to make reaching the ski slopes easier.
