THE PROJECT
The collaboration with Omar stemmed from the intention to highlight the countless outdoor proposals of the Valsesia area, and then to propose them in a fresh and youthful key through some short videos on the namesake YouTube channel to those who have not had the good fortune of getting to know this wonderful territory as yet.
THE ITINERARY
An itinerary is created to explore Valsesia from Varallo to Alagna, to try out some of the most enjoyable sporting experiences that the High Valley has to offer, without neglecting some truly iconic cultural sites, first and foremost, the Sacro Monte of Varallo.

BIKING AND RIVER SPORTS
After discovering the beauty of the Sacro Monte of Varallo and its bond with the Valsesian people, we get to the heart of outdoor proposals, starting on two wheels with the Balmuccia – Alagna cycle path. For the occasion, the route is proposed with a shorter e-bike itinerary that, starting from Scopa and arriving as far as Riva Valdobbia, offers several breathtaking views, skirting the river Sesia and passing through some of the most characteristic villages in Valsesia.
This is followed by river sports, the undisputed protagonists of summer in Valsesia, and much loved by the very young, but now also fully appreciated by those who want to experience the thrill of adrenaline in complete safety. Rafting, Canyoning and Hydrospeed: these are the disciplines that Omar is trying out for the first time in Valsesia in the company of our river schools.
TREKKING ENHANCED BY FOOD AND WINE
The journey continues on to Alagna where, after savouring some local delicacies (miacce, salami and Valsesian cheeses are the perfect combination to end a day of outdoor sports!), you can sleep in a lodge before tackling a challenging trek towards the majestic Mount Rosa.
One can only feel wonder and gratitude when facing the beauty of the pink giant on a clear sunny day. And it is precisely these feelings that permeate Omar’s stories. On his return to Padua, he will take a wealth of memories and many smiles after this first experience in the Valley.
